Today I had the fabulous opportunity of attending the Missionary Homecoming for a past student of mine. He wasn't 'just' a student, he was a young man (even at the age of 7) that emulated all of the qualities I hoped for my own son. I was very fortunate to teach his younger sister and keep in close contact with his darling family. I was so happy to receive his homecoming announcement, attend his special meeting and feel of his spirit. I have no doubt that he touched many lives and led many to the gospel. I feel so blessed to be able to rub shoulders with young people each and every day. They grow up and leave my classroom, but never my heart.
