Last week the Monsen clan came together for our familiar, traditional Christmas breakfast. I was fortunate enough to grow up with aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents that were truly not just my relatives, but my friends and examples. We gathered together every Sunday at Nanny's for yummy food and friendly conversation. I love my family. Perfect... not a bit, but that makes our conversation even more meaningful. Whenever, we've experiences trials or accomplishments... it was my family that shouted the loudest and offered the biggest hugs. I am so blessed. Christmas morning was another tradition that we all looked forward to. Breakfast at Nanny and Pop's house. Waffles, sausage, bacon, the list went on and it was delicious. Following breakfast, Nanny and our moms would put on a huge game of Bingo. Nanny always bought prizes (that were specifically for us) and moms also bought wrapped bingo gifts to add to the pot. Another great tradition and bucket of memories. Last week our amazing mothers shared the tradition with us again. It was so fun to see how this family continues to grow in size and love.
