Happy Birthday to Me!

What a fun day... I think the last surprise party I had was when I was 16!!

Lance prepared and hosted a fabulous party with family, friends, neighbors and tons of food!!

I wished that I had been carrying my camera around so that I could have taken many more pictures with my favorite people that came to celebrate my big day... However, about half way through, when everyone had arrived, I had a moment to myself when I sat and looked around the room and realized that I was surrounded by my favorite people in the world. It's taken me 40 years to figure this game of life out and these people have been my support, my entertainment, my joy, my relief, my confidants... they know me better than anyone else and they still showed up (on their holiday break :) to celebrate with me! Instantly, I took a memory picture that will stay with me forever...
Here's to more decades of dreams, dilemnas and daily duties surrounded by my favorite people in the world! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
