I was talking to my brother and sisters Sunday about a fabulous treasure that I found (or was referred to from a wonderful friend :)...CITY DEALS. They have discounted gift certificates to some of my favorite restaurants and spas and stores. All you do is log on with your email and zip code and search for great deals... then purchase them and they are mailed to you quickly in the mail (they were nice looking gift certificates, too). For Halloween, my kids gave their cute teachers a Halloween treat with a $10 g/c attched to Tasty's Donuts (right down the street from our school... FREE LUNCH:) However, the gift certificate only cost me $5. I've purchased ones from Robintinos, Pepper Belly's, Bun Basket, Tasty's and a few others... not just for my family but they come in handy for little thank yous or holiday surprises. Possibly many of you already participate in City Deals... just ignore me... those of you that haven't... give it a try... it's slick!
