A month or so ago I planned a little get away for mama and papa... not too far from home... just down to St. George to enjoy a little warm weather, R and R, a flick or two and a night at Tuachan Ampitheater to see Crazy for You. It was fabulous! The ride was quick, the weather was delightful, the food was scrumptious and the entertainment great fun! I can't count the times that I have travel to and from and through St. George, however, this time it just seem more beautiful. The temperature was so perfect that you didn't even think about it (let alone sweat because of it) until the breeze blew and you realized how perfect it really was. Lance has lost about 20+ pounds and has mentioned "I need to go shopping for some new clothes!" We went 'Skinny Shopping' and had great success. He was so excited to buy sizes that he hasn't worn since we dated 13 years ago. Way to go buddy! I on the other hand... had to purchase clothing for the nearly 40 year old Lory, dangit! These new duds could have probably been wrapped around my body twice, 13 years ago :) Oh, but I did purchase 2 new pair of yummy boots in an 8 1/2... the same size for the past 25 years ;) Although it was UEA weekend and the reason for a school break... I'm pretty sure this time away did much more for Mrs. Evans that any conference in the Salt Palace in SLC!!!
