Max's 1st Bus Ride

Oh... so emotional! Yesterday our little Max took his first ride on the short bus. Preschool and therapy started Monday afternoon. Max gets picked up from the high school child development center and taken to the elementary school up the road. Ms. Susan and Ms. Shawna had been prepping the whole class all last week that Max was going to be picked up and travel on a school bus for a few minutes. They read stories, sang songs... did a little dramatic play etc. etc. Monday morning Max's whole child development class went out to the front of the school to the bus stop and waited for Mr. Gary and his bus. Max was thrilled! He was met by his bus aide and Mr. Gary, got buckled into his big boy seat and waved out the window to his cheering class. I have tears rolling down my checks as I write this. Thank you so much for loving our little boy. We are so blessed. More than anything we want Max to be happy and fulfilled. Thank you to the Ms. Shawnas, Ms. Susans and Mr. Garys and SO many others that help us create a life of simplicity and happiness for Max.
