Whew! We made it through our first Clytie Adam's Academy of Ballet recital week! This set up is the most organized, detail oriented organization I have ever witness for a child's program... Staging rehersal, 'closed' dress rehersal, afternoon performance, evening performance. It was a week of many miles to Weber State University on a daily basis, hair gel, spray and cement... makeup and princesses! We left Max behind with Aunt Julie because absolutely no children under the age of 5 may attend and NO flash photography during the rehersals or performance. (Camera were confiscated!) That is all a bit much for the Evans' family... at times I wondered if anyone was having any fun (because I was a nervous wreck about violating the procedures :) Obviously, it was just me... the girls had an absolute ball performing and looking like princesses... heck, even I felt great when I relaxed a bit and began passing the bag of Swedish Fish back and forth between family members (disregarding the signs and reminders everywhere that food and drink were not allowed)... and just sat back and enjoyed the 2 hour show!!!
