Another monumental moment in the Evans' home. In between soccer games, Lance tried to put Max down for a nap... not happening... Max has learned to swing his chubby little leg over the side... dang it! The crib wasn't going to work anymore. Lance grabbed the toddler bed and set it up while I continued with chores around the house. I privately got a little teary eyed when I realized my crib was no longer needed... My baby is growing up. As you can see Max was pretty excited... until it came to naptime. "Hi!" as he walked down the hall toward the family room only minutes after tucking him in. "Hi!" as he waved seconds after I lefted him room the second time. "Hi!" on and on. Finally the portable gate went up to keep him in the room. 5 minutes later he fell asleep... on the floor in the middle of the room.
Oh well, baby steps... for my toddler boy.
