Max's Early Intervention teacher, Carol, mentioned that with a little extra support for Max's ankles, he might walk a bit soon. Enjoying the fact that my baby would be my 'baby' a bit longer, I hesitated only a second. I want to offer the best for Max and Shriner's Hospital would provide us with that. The whole fam damily went up July 12th for an early 7:30 visit with Dr. Roach. After he checked Max out, he commented that he was a very healthy, sturdy little boy. Max of course put on a show for the doctors and nurses, pulling out all of his tricks and flirty moves. He had x-rays of his neck taken and braces made for his ankles. We pick them up in a couple of weeks and begin that part of the journey soon. He's truly one of my greatest blessings.
