Sunday evening the doorbells rings and it is Alex's den leader with a Raingutter Regatta kit for WEDNESDAY night. Needless to say the 2 of us got started tearing through the box and 'Googling' everything on the web. After a quick trip to the craft shop, a little sanding, painting and waxing... we gave 'the Captain' a try out in the bathtub. It stayed afloat, he was smiling and I was relieved. Wednesday night arrived and 17 boats were made by the darling boys in our ward. Alex raced a few times with great success. 2nd place for the Wolves! Phew! We did it!
