1st Day of School

Where to begin... New Home

 

 

This is why you don't get too busy to do good things!  It has been 1 year since I last posted... added to my journal... I am so sad that I fell behind.  This past year has been a wonderful year... full of happiness, hard work, accomplishments, heart break, sickness, miracles... and a new home.
I have so much to write... to catch up on... I'm making my list and plan to tackle each event that has made me stronger, happier and more grateful than ever.

I was doing so well with my diary slash blog...and then life became busy... not with

motherhood, or

wife-ness,

not teacher time or

cubmaster skills,

not carpools or

workouts,

not my online stores or

christmas list...

something much more important...

I've learned to FIGHT LIKE A GIRL!

and love, support and appreciate my mother

more than I ever thought possible.

There is a long story behind this... one day I hope to get it all written down...

short story ... mom was diagnosed with breast cancer.

She's been tested and biopsied, suffered and operated on

now she's resting and recovering, we are hoping and praying.

Breast cancer is NOT genetic...

it can happen to anyone, she is the first in many genertations.

We've rallied, we're supportive, we're faithful

we love our mom!!

Happy 50th Wedding Anniversary

How lucky am I? My parents are reaching a momumental moment today, reaching their 50th Wedding Anniversary. 50! I am so grateful for their love, example and support.

Pinewood Derby

We had so much fun at the Pinewood Derby. What a creative, good set of boys to be around. To bad it only happens every 3 years!
